Heat-Resistant Outsole

Solid Timberland PRO® rubber compound outsole resists hot contact using the EN ISO 20344 test method at 572°F (300°C).

ReBOTL™ Material

The ReBOTL™ material used in Timberland® apparel contains at least 40% recycled PET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate, the stuff plastic bottles are made of). The ReBOTL™ material used in Timberland® footwear and accessories contains at least 50% recycled PET. (Excepting trace materials)

Puncture-Resistant Device (Non-Metallic Plate)

Flexible non-metallic plate provides puncture protection to the sole of the foot. Meets ASTM F2413 and ASTM F2892 puncture resistance (PR) requirements when tested to F2412.

Rubber Outsole

Heat-resistance, durable rubber compound offers slip, oil and abrasion resistance.

Steel Safety Toe

Safety footwear constructed with metallic protective safety toe caps designed to give the wearer protection against impact and compression, as defined by EN ISO 20345 Tables 1, 2 and 16.
