Built for the adventures of nature and beyond, this Lincoln Peak men's hiking shoe is waterproofed with a Gore-Tex® bootie construction and a fully gusseted tongue. A rubber lug outsole helps offer the traction you need, while the climbing rubber tip, toe bumper and heel piece provide extra protection and performance. The upper is made with waterproof Premium Timberland® Leather and ReBOTL™ material containing at least 50% recycled PET plastic.
GORE-TEX Membrane
An internal GORE-TEX membrane is built into the boot or shoe to create a waterproof and breathable barrier. The GORE-TEX membrane helps keep feet dry and protected, while allowing moisture vapor from sweat to pass through.
Waterproof Footwear
Our waterproof footwear incorporates a variety of advanced waterproofing materials, treatments and processes. We start with waterproof leathers that are sealed as part of the tanning process; we then either seam-seal the footwear or use an internal waterproof breathable membrane to help feet stay dry. Tongues and zippers treated with durable water resistant coatings utilize integrated gussets, to further deter water entry.
ReBOTL™ Material
The ReBOTL™ material used in Timberland® apparel contains at least 40% recycled PET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate, the stuff plastic bottles are made of). The ReBOTL™ material used in Timberland® footwear and accessories contains at least 50% recycled PET. (Excepting trace materials)
